A few words from the Minister

Victoria is Australia’s “food bowl” – home to more than 2,000 food processing firms and 820 wineries across 21 wine regions – more than any other state. Victoria is world renowned for its quality food and beverages, from dairy, fruit and vegetables to seafood, beef and wine.

With an annual turnover of over $25 billion and exports of $5.6 billion, Victoria’s food and beverage industry is a significant contributor to the Victorian and Australian economies.

The Victorian Government is proud to sponsor Put Victoria on Your Table, a state-wide campaign to make Victorians aware of the fabulous food and wine grown right on our doorstep.
